Re: Bob McIntyre the Flying Scotsman.
John was very badly treated by Honda and he is a bitter man about how he was told his services were no longer required. Not sure if he has the cage off his leg yet.
That Honda (2017)Fire Blade SP2 is a widow maker. McGuinness very rarely makes mistakes. The reason for his off at the NW 200 was when the bike was airborne coming over Primrose hill it went to full throttle open and spat John off the bike, he was lucky he survived, Guy Martin refused to ride the bike at the NW 200 and also at the TT, he said it was just not safe. Similar thing happened again at Suzuka during the 8 hours endurance race. Honda have lost there way with motorcycles currently they make nothing I would buy.
The Norton is an interesting bike but it is or was still well of the pace of the BMW's. I wish John would retire now, he has nothing to prove. The man to beat at the TT in the senior race is Michael Dunlop when he is on the right machinery. I am not a fan of MD having meet him a few times he is just pig ignorant. An amazing talent on a bike ,but not his Uncle Joey. Sadly I think MD will be the next Dunlop in a box. There is a wall on the TT course with his name on it, I hope I am wrong but???

Re: Bob McIntyre the Flying Scotsman.
Did you ever see that movie with Anthony Hopkins, The worlds Fastest Indian, well worth a watch. Or this was some piece of machinery.
Guy knocked it up in his home garage and used the his wife's oven to bake some of the carbon fibre components.
