Trees are starting to lose their leaves here now , a bit early so it looks like an early Autumn start.

Re: German Efficiency
DHL still haven't sorted it out if we get back to the original chicken question they opened a new distribution centre in Rugby and employ 300 new people the previous distributor bidvest who are well-known the distribution of chilled food had 6 distribution centres and have made 250 people redundant . When you look at driving hours for drivers being 10 and a half hours a day and rugby being fairly central in the country then allowing for time at the shops and time for brakes etc realistically to get back to Rugby that day you can't go more than 250 miles do your drops and then drive 250 miles back realise that these vehicles are restricted to 56 miles an hour this was about money and DHL have already had this experience when they took the Burger King contract off bidvest a couple of years ago which they totally screwed up KFC were warned several levels especially by the GMB union but decided that saving money was more important

Re: German Efficiency
Ref 37 Richard, i have two friends coming over from Perth, apparently 29deg today, they are flying on Quantas dreamliner, Perth - Heathrow non stop 18 hrs in the air plus 3 hr checkin, plus taxi to the Isle of Wight 1.5 hrs, plus ferry ride, before i pick them up !!, the amazing thing is they here for one week !!!!!, then same thing return. I offered them a longer stay, but seems they just like flying. The dreamliner seating i believe is 4-4-4, and they charge an extra $140 for aisle seats, kt
