(hurry home, Donald, Santa will be coming soon !!!)

It must give our American cousins a warm and cosy feeling just knowing their leader is such a wise, charismatic, human being admired by all !

Every country got it's self out of the mire of 2008 except the UK-why? Because Labour bankrupted the country. That's a fact Lewis, that's why the country is in the mire.
Labour followed the conservative policies for three years after gaining power, generating a surplus. After that it was downhill, throwing money away as if it was confetti.
NHS is fairing well, yes it has problems,but the left concentrate on the minor failings and not the successes.

Am currently being treated by Edinburgh Royal infirmary, part of NHS Scotland, I had an op three years ago for stomach cancer, in eight weeks , I was diagnosed, operated on, and it was a success, but now I have a hernia, I contacted my Gp, he in turn consulted my consultant, I have had CT scans, and preop examinations, will be having an repair op on my hernia in January, I cannot fault the Scottish NHS, am not s@ying the same for the SNP, I would not pee on them if they were on fire, ........end of rant

My apologies to Admin' for the direction this thread has taken, for which I must take full responsibility. Originally, I had hoped to encourage further discussion about Trump and the merits, or otherwise, of his latest foray onto the world stage which I thought would be of some interest/concern to most. Clearly, I was wrong. Instead, I seem to have opened Pandora's Box and in no time flat we are back to British politics, a subject which quite frankly (albeit, understandably) has been done to death on this site during the past few years.
