Fire chiefs express concern over viral video of tea light flower pot heater. The Fire Brigade have quite a few things to say about this mode of heating, here's a few:
''Don’t cover candles with anything – anything placed over a candle flame will get very hot, and could melt or catch fire.''
''The Brigade is worried that during the cold snap people will try to copy the heating technique, which is dangerous and could cause fires''

But after watching that Video it looks like a good idea as long as what Bengy mentions put the Candles out before you go out! Or for that matter when you Retire of to the Kip! LOL

I think that as long as there is sufficient Air Flow as shown in Video ,it should be quite safe,just keep out of the Drafts!

Yes without joking I cannot see much harm in the use of that System as long as it is Monitored as should be ALL Fires !!!!!
Its not so much the safe methods that the Fire Dept is on about its the unsafe methods such as Open Fires,Heaters too close to Clothing,and such!
I have the greatest respect for the Firies I was one once too!

That's a good idea how do you make them nad where do you get the Bees Wax from Bengy!
Just brings back to mind when on the old Farm in DeDeur "Apple Orchards" ot was called because of all the Fruit Trees we had, many many of them too.
Anyway my late Father (Bless his Soul) had 300 Beehives and it used to keep us busy all the time,getting the Honey Combs out the Hives,but even as young as we were learnt very fast!
We used to take it all back in Barrows to the House where my Dad had set up a proper Honey Extractor (with winding Handle those days LOL) which us kids had to turn to get the Tub Rotating as fast as we could,which of course extracted the Honey from the Cones! Then Bottled and sold on the Roadside Stall which we had! Sold all our Honey,Fruits ,Eggs and it was then a very good Business!
We loved it met many people that way too.
Dad also Won 1st Prize three Years running for his excellent Honey at the Rand Easter Shows in Johannesburg,
Best part for us kids was the eating of the Honey Combs that still had some Honey left in them!
