John the gas used in cars is not the same as the gas you cook on at home. Was a big thing here in Oz for many years but slowly dying out now. Petrol prices are down and many of the new cars cannot be converted to gas.

But we do some of the finest olive oil in the world , great fruit of which we export a motza, great beef and lamb which UK did buy prior to EU, maybe you can again after this is over.
As to French wine, see a bit here on the odd occasion but it dose not sell well, local staff far better.

don't know about that john my sons thinks mine runs on water i'm the only one who puts diesel in it?? jp

###always amazes me how a leg of english lamb can be 22 or 23 quid and the succulent new zealand is 10 or 12 in the supermarket and you cant tell which is which.....cant wait to get out get some brazilian beef in the shops canadian apples cape grapes north sea cod and haddock english butter etc etc cappy

Know the feeling John, her in doors always tells me I can get petrol cheaper than she can.
