Our ex PM Howard also insists that it was the right thing to get rid of Saddam and has openly said that he never lied about events leading up to the war. It was an error of information from the foreign office. This bloke could not lie straight in bed even if his life depended on it. Same with the ex PM Abbott who was drooling at the mouth to commit to the current conflict there. Think that he was on the phone to Obama all the time to allow Oz to participate. Reason being that while a war is being conducted the incumbent government usually gets re elected do to voters not wanting to change. Think it was only the Vietnam war where the Libs got kicked out to be replaced by Whitlam who bought the troops home before as soon as possible. Would dearly love to see Bush, Bliar and Howard answerable for this fiasco but they will slither out of it like mongrel dogs that they are. Bush senior had it right when he liberated Kuwait but stopped at the border once done. Bush junior just had to show the old man that he was a big boy and go all the way.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

    Hi Brian
It was a foregone conclusion that Dr Kelly was murdered, at the time I remember someone reporting that the idea of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was taken from a university thesis study by students and sent to Blair who being a brilliant!!! man accepted it on it's face value, and contacted his stupid mate Bush another brilliant man and together concocted a plan that cost over a million lives.
The Koala bear over here followed them, quite pleased to get a pat on the head
    Cheers Des

As most of you would know Canberra is the Australian capital.

It is situated in a region with a number of small mountains and hills. The capital centre sits between two such hills.

The Aboriginal name for this part of the country is the same as for the English word cleavage, as the slope between the two hills resembles such.

Appropriate when you think about it, our capital is situated between two tits, with hundreds more inside.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
