Patriotism.... This should really go in the post How will it all end, but cant find at the moment. Patriotism is a dying word and will be totally defunct as regards the UK if stay in the confines of a Brussels Parliament. All loyaltys will the be the EUs right to have and expect. Already we see this in the world of sport where any nationality plays for whatever country is paying the best dividend. To play for your country used to be an honour, today it is probably considered by many as a drudge if not paying the going rate. Countries in Europe including the UK have literally millions of foreign squatters who pay only lip service to the country that has taken them in. So how it will all end I see it not as one Nation fighting another, but in its place civil disturbances in every country that has huge numbers of different nationalitys. Most of all these problems have been self inflicted and people are still advocating for them to continue, by viz having no border control or management of numbers whatsoever. The politicians and their so called advisors are totally responsible for the present state of affairs and no argument can direct the blame elsewhere. So I see it as the answer on How will it all end. Just one mass of humanity fighting each other for various reasons. No more Mr. Nice Guy is the only answer at the present time, if it is not already too late. When ISIS first started up I advocated giving them a parcel of land barren if need be, and they could if so inclined do as Israel had to do cultivate part of the Negrev Desert to survive. To contain them and their likes who followed their doctrines. However I suppose that would have been too complicated in this day when computers do all the work, and bombs and bullets are supposed to wipe out all resistance. The world as it stands at present is only going to get worse and not better. JS

National identity in the EU is dying, the zealots want to eradicate the nation state, hence no borders and unrestricted travel.
The only identity allowed will be ta citizen of the EU, you cannot or will not be German, French, British only EU. It will and is happening slowly but gradually it will gather pace, so in years to come you will be a European citizen.
I read somewhere, as far as history and the teaching thereof, the EU suggest that schools should only teach history from the end of the second World War, anything else is irrelevant.
Yes the zealots have a lot to answer for.

Tomorrow is Anzac Day out here and is to celebrate the steadfastness and bravery of Australian troops who went to fight the common foe to protect and guard their chosen way of life for their and future generations to have. the common word is Patriotism, and for the past 25 years these ceremonies have always had the younger generations in attendance, so the children of their grandparents are always aware of the penalties paid. The future as laid out by the present so called leaders of Europe bears little relevance to what those who fought for their way of life had in mind. I am only too pleased to have lived in an era wher I can appreciate what they did, today as I see Europe all I see is problems and bloodshed through bad governmental thinking and actions, the brave new world fought and died for in most cases has been thrown way through greed , poor morals and bad management. When I say 25 years I only refer to my 25 years out here JS

patriotism is a word now substituted by racism you are now classed as racist if you speak out about our history and way of life being eroded away by others moving into our country I have no problem with people moving here but to live amongst us not set up no go and ghettos where indigenous people cant go in? our laws are totally disrespected and the race card is really a ticket for them to do and say anything about the country they have moved to. unless they leave their archaic rules they have lived by and make a fresh start then keep out anyone moving here should be given a does and don'ts to save any deportation from this land? jp

Hi John, For the benefit of all our readers it is also Anzac Day in New Zealand. Sadly the attendances at the Dawn Services are dropping each year due to the older generation dying off and the fact that it means little to the hordes off Asians flooding into the country. Regards Peter in NZ.

Now is the time for us to stand up for what we believe in - now is the time to get shut of Europe and try and rescue our islands from invasion - now is the time to regain what is rightfully ours, the United Kingdom. The politicians are only in it for themselves and what fame and fortune they can make, they don't give a dam about you or me, just themselves. David Cameron has given notice this is his last term as PM, so he must have something in mind, a big well paid job in the EU I bet. I am reminded at this time of Shakespeare of Henry V

Its time to fight these people and prove to them that we still have the belief in our country, our history and our gratitude to the people who we revere and remember on 11th November every year, the people who gave their lives so that we could be free of the very thing that our current bunch of self centered politicians want us to give in to.

Stand up fight and say LEAVE - all it takes is a tick in a box that says LEAVE and that will make our country free and keep it free from foreign invasion and rule and make this land our land, somewhere we can be proud of and somewhere we can live within our culture, our customs and our language. Spread the word.

If UK votes to stay how liong beforte maps will be drawn up showing no borders, just one big EU?

We are lucky here in Oz where patriotism still holds fair sway, but for how much longer?

In the early days after WW2 thousands came here and fitted in well, grew the nation to the benifit of all. Then in the 70's the Vietnamese after the war. One day fighting them, next offering them a home. But they were grateful and have become part of the nation. But now sadly, like so many other countries, we are seeing an in take of those we would prefer to stay away. But like so many other nations we have a gov that considers it the right thing to do. Only time will tell if they are correct but by then it may be too late.
