This is interesting
On February 15th 1882.
In 1882, the sailing ship the Dunedin left New Zealand carrying the first cargo of refrigerated lamb bound for the UK.
This meant that New Zealand was able to become a provider of food to the world.

Then UK joined the common market and said b********s to NZ. But they have survived and are doing very well.
