    an interesting fact from an ex MN fireman in todays daily mail confirming that a story i heard years ago from family ....that any collier carrying coals must have coal burning fire for the boilers or the miners union would not let that company carry coal......regars cappy

    Then they wonder why the coal industry declined, keeping old expensive ships running by blackmail not the best way forward for the industry, or any other

    Scargill was most probably a trouble making shop steward or rep in those days cappy.
    Here's how Red Arthur and the easily led miners succeeded in closing down their coalmining industry.
    The miners got rid of the horses,
