    There you go Terry,
I have never once praised Cameron, just saying that Labour and Miliband are no different. that is all, read it again.
They had 13 years to do the things they want to do now, Both Miliband and Balls were in the Treasury at the time. So these ideas they have now , why didn't they do then???
As I said Andy Burnham was a load of crap when he was Minister of Health, he did nothing, and gives insults out to the very people who employs him, I am not allowed to contact him, who the hell does he think he is. and He is our Servant and we pay his wages and expenses with our income taxes. Is that the kind of man you want to be in charge of the Health Service.??
The NHS was designed for the British people and not for freeloading immigrants who come in sick and expect the best all for nothing so that British people who have paid for 50 years plus have to go onto waiting lists.
I do not vote Conservative and cannot vote for Labour, Miliband has no life experience. He could make a good Second Hand Car Salesman, BUT I would never buy a second hand car off him.
    Balls is just as thick.
Look at the front bench of Labour , all from wealthy families all same as front bench of Conservatives. No difference, all want to get into the top position so they get more money and expenses.
The only qualification a Politician needs is , the ability to tell lies without laughing. and the suckers in the streets believe. what a way to run [or ruin [ a country
    .
I will give you another example of how Andy Burham works in the NHS.
My lad was a senior Doctor at a famous Teaching Hospital in London. He was teaching junior Doctors, The management told him he was to be made up to Consultant in September, 2004, As September approached, he was called into the office. They told him they had new Targets issued by Andy Burnham,
They had to double the number of Consultants, also they had to double the number of Consultants from the Ethnics, So Sorry you cannot be the Consultant, we have to promote the two Pakistani junior Doctors over you and make them both Consultants so therefore we are meeting both the targets the Labour Government are giving us..
He said the two were less than useless and that decision of Andy Burnham`s would risk Patients lives. as they were both totally Inexperienced, BUT Targets had been met, that is all it is about. So if you want an idiot to run the Health Service that puts patients lives at risk just to meet targets then I suggest you vote Labour.
My lad pack in the Job there and then and went to San Diego California for Five years where they appreciate good doctors. It was Britains loss.
He is back now and doing an excellent job of saving lives.

Another bunch of junior doctors from the middle east who he was trying to teach put a Fatwah on him, he had to look under his car every time he went to it in case there was a bomb under it as they had threatened, These are the kind of Doctors Labour wanted to promote.

    I rest my case
    Cheers
    Brian

Terry, the last Government threw money at the NHS, but didn't specify how it should have been spent., rsult more middle managers, accounts and dogsbodies.
My wife was in hospital a few years ago, no complaints, treatment was excellent.
Standing around the nurses the nurses were approx seven people, only one in uniform (nurse) saw one of the ID badges, title BED MANAGER. There was one of these positions on every ward.
Why does the left throw a hairy fit every time someone mentions charging foreigners for accessing the NHS? On the TV program Farage was given a rough ride by the parties to the left of centre.
Go abroad, fall ill, have an injury, first question, insurance please. But in this country its nearly a crime to ask for insurance if a foreigner falls ill.
If we were having a night out and Balls was with us and we had a kitty for the drinks Balls would be the last person i would let handle it.

This is Andy Burnham , from Wikipedia,,,,,,
Do you really want him as Health Minister again??????????????
    .
    .Political controversy[edit]

Burnham was criticised during the 2010 election campaign after leaflets were sent to 250,000 women - some of whom turned out to be cancer patients - featuring a message from a breast cancer survivor who praised Labour's health policy. Burnham, the then government Health Secretary, denied that specific cancer patients had been targeted.[16]

In July 2013 The Daily Telegraph stated that Burnham's staff had edited his Wikipedia page to remove critical material. Burnham's office claimed that they had removed false statements that had been drawn to their attention.[17]

As Health Secretary, Burnham ignored repeated requests for a public enquiry into unusually high mortality rates at Mid Staffordshire Hospital, including 3 independent reports into the scandal. Burnham and his predecessor as Health Secretary, Alan Johnson, rejected 81 separate requests to examine the high rate of deaths at the hospital. 2,800 of which arose after alarms were first sounded.[

    Ed Balls Bio.

Balls' father is the zoologist Michael Balls; his mother is Carolyn Janet Balls (born Riseborough).[3] His younger brother is Andrew Balls the head of European Operations at the bond and investment firm PIMCO. Balls was born in Norwich and educated at Bawburgh Primary School in Norwich, Crossdale Drive Primary School in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire, and then the private all-boys Nottingham High School, where he played the violin.[4][5] He went on to attend Keble College, Oxford, where he gained a First in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, graduating. 6] Later he attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard, where he was a Kennedy Scholar specialising in Economics.[6]

    Allegations over allowances[edit]

Main article: United Kingdom parliamentary expenses scandal

In September 2007, with his wife Yvette Cooper MP, he was accused by Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker of "breaking the spirit of Commons rules" by using MPs' allowances to help pay for a £655,000 home in north London.[47] Balls and Cooper bought a four bedroom house in Stoke Newington, and registered this as their second home (rather than their home in Castleford, West Yorkshire) in order to qualify for up to £44,000 a year to subsidise a reported £438,000 mortgage under the Commons Additional Costs Allowance, of which they claimed £24,400. Both worked in London full-time and their children attended local London schools. Balls and Cooper claimed that "The whole family travel between their Yorkshire home and London each week when Parliament is sitting. As they are all in London during the week, their children have always attended the nearest school to their London house."[48]

Balls and Cooper "flipped" the designation of their second home three times within the space of two years.[49] In June 2008 they were referred to the Standards Commissioner over allegations that they were claiming expenses for what was effectively their main home in London, their combined claim was £24,000

So these Labour ministers are Toffs just the same as the Conservatives./ Private School etc.
and Snouts and all four hoofs in the Trough.
There is no difference so how can Working class people vote for someone who has never worked in the true sense of the word.

The advantage the last 3 posts have over mine is you new what you were getting with the Labour party and you can judge them on their past record. This government won't tell you there future policies WHY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because you cant trust them with anything let alone the N.H.S. I will leave it at this, Great Britain has never borrowed as much money in its history as it has while the coalition has been in power, Immigration look at Camerons targets which he was to achieve as in less immigration it has in fact increased on his watch, The only way you can fairly fund any program N.H.S. included is to raise taxes for the better off, The more wealth you take out the more you put back in. That is common sense at work I by the way Brian haven't made my mind up who to vote for yet, But I certainly wont be casting a vote for the death of our National treasure, The N.H.S. Interestingly not one of the last few posts mentioned fairness. That saddens me as a grandfather of 8 grandkids, One who is an asperger's sufferer. But I am not tugging at heart strings I just want the system to be a fair one from the top emergency surgery to mental health issues. And Cameron to be honest with the voter and instead of keeping us all guessing tell us his future in there manifesto for the future N.H.S. In Great Britain because thus far the feed back from those 100 top doctors is not what anyone on this forum wants to read. Unless you all know something that the rest of us don't. Regards all Terry.

I am off to sunny Fleetwood in the morning for a few days, so I will leave it there.
I will probably vote UKIP as at least he laughs when he lies. The other two lie without laughing.
    Cheers
    Brian.

One of the current problems with health services in UK and here in Oz came about when the training of nurses was taken from the hospitals and put into universities. No more apprentice nurses and people who may not be good at academia but would make excellent nurses are cut out of the system. The other problem is the aging population, one that is living far longer than ever imagined, putting pressure on an already overloaded system. But there will always be some who are dissatisfied no matter how the system works. Maybe the Oz system is the way to go in UK, some form of compulsory private cove for those who can afford it, hat would take some pressure of the NHS.

As to car parking at hospital, all our hospitals here have subcontracted the parking to parking companies, though most have a flat rate of $10for seniors
    Happy daze John in Oz.
