Another readers letter
Another random readers letter from the WA papers. Titled DONT CRY FOR ME...No one speaks ill of the dead, but oh, how accolades flow when a politician dies. Malcolm Fraser was yet another politician who believed his job was to rule. His intent from day 1 was to implement his personal agendas. A pet policy was multiculturalism which he instigated without mandate or consultation from people he was elected to serve. Had he still been in power there is no doubt that this country would have been flooded with refugees. The results of that policy have changed the cultural, social and economic landscape irreversibly, certainly not for the better, and no more so in recent times. Salt in the wound is that these politicians have the gall to preach about what a wonderful democratic country we have. Mourn not too much for Fraser for he is yet another example of what a great fraud on the public are politicians. Signed.............. Cheers JS

Re: Another readers letter
John, we have had good and bad PM's, Rudd the dud was a good example of a bad one, but the other MP's will never admit the faults. Why, because there will come the day when they will want to be recalled in all their glory. With so many of them it is very often just one thing they did that gets the accolades and not always for the right reasons. Whitlam almost sent the nation broke but is remembered for other what the pubic say were 'good' things. We all tend to remember what we like the most and often put the bad behind.
As Mark Anthony said
'I come to bury Caeser not to praise him the evil that he did will be intered within his bones the good lives on."

I come to bury Caesar not to praise him, the evil that men do lives after them the good is often interred with their bones. So shall it be with Caesar , the mighty Brutus has told you that Caesar was ambitious and if was so was a grievous fault and grievously has Caesar paid for it. I was Mark Anthony wrapped up in a sheet for a toga in 1948 for the school play, probably because I was the only one with an off white sheet. Cheers John S
