    No Des, I didn't have pneumonia when I was young. This was the first time I have experienced this horrible disease. I was ln hospital four months.

    It is one of the most common causes of death in old persons Fouro. The biggest cause of it is lying in bed in one position all the time causing the lungs to collapse. That’s the reason in hospital they would be continually be moving you .I read that somewhere or maybe one of those sister tutors taught me years ago. Good to see you posting again anyway , will help to keep you active as well . Cheers all the best . JS
    PS when did you go into hospital for your 4 month stint. I had 16 days in last February 19 th. Had to talk my way out . But had more falls shortly after , but didn’t break anything this time , but still feels as though I did. Been a helluva a year hope the next ones better.

    About five years ago our GP called us in and said you ae having the pneumonia vaccination, with the second booster one next year.
    Just hope he was correct, have seen some of the effects of that bloody stuff.
