    Default Dr Blake Mysteries

Have been watching the new and 2nd series of Dr Blake Mysteries, brings back memories of the fifties in Oz.
good to see the old and vintage cars in immaculate condition, Fords and Standards etc. and the town of
Ballarat with all its old buildings, Craig McLachlan plays the part very well. takes me back to when the Sullivans
was on 1976-83. with stories of during WW2. The present stories are in the 1959 era. Fred.

Yes, very good series much of it made in Ballarat. The scenes inside the police station were filmed here in Sunbury where I live. The old asylum was used for the scenes.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

Seems to me it has shades of Inspector Morse, except with women assistants
