I will go along with Vernon what he says about his car having been a passenger in it when i was over on a visit to Vernon and his lovely wife Irene
Vernon even took me on the Bathhurst race track it went like a charm and i must say that Vernon is a very good driver no cutting corners
Re: Possibly not interesting enough but!

Re: Possibly not interesting enough but!
John, by the sound of it just get in, get comfortable, tell it where you want to go and watch the scenery.

Re: Possibly not interesting enough but!
John ref 63, does your car engine stop everytime you stop???, believe that most modern cars now do this in the name of economy, my son has a BMW that does this. Trouble is i come from a driving generation where the engine stopping on its own fills me with dread, but the system seems to work ok. I drive a Subaru outback 3litre automatic petrol, drives like a dream as long as you have a big wallet, KT
Re: Possibly not interesting enough but!
Keith the stop/start system does take some getting used to, the first couple of times you think 'oh! sh*t' what's gone wrong now, now I get annoyed when it doesn't stop, same performance as my previous Merc B class, but at least 15 miles per gallon more. Subaru's were my favourite driving cars, but had to let them go as they reached 3 digits too easily (and I'm not talking Kph) when my wife was driving, and didn't want her to lose her licence, I mean who would drive me back from the pub. The Merc is just as fast but somehow she treats it with more respect.
