The Clooney wedding.

Not sure how P&O go in Europe but here in Oz they do not have a very good image. They appear to be more interested in the younger people who will spend most of the day in the bars. The hotel manager on a Princess cruise told me last year that Carnival the owners of both companies wanted Princess to assist P&O in raising their standards.

I called into a cafe
To get a cup of tea
When I saw George Clooney
Right in front of me


Sure my wee legs started shaking
This wee woman went all weak
I tried to say "Hello George"
But sure I couldn't even speak

Then I started falling
And he ran across to me
He held me in his arms
Wouldn't let me go you see

He said "Are you alright my dear"
All I could do was stare
And then my mouth it started working
And what I said I didn't care

"George I think you're wonderful
I've loved you for years
I hear you're getting married soon
And you have me in tears

He said "I didn't know this dear
I know what I can do
I'll tell her we are finished
And I will marry you"

I puckered up my lips
As he came close to me
I thought his lips are hot
Then I realised it was tea

"Take a sip of this"
The cafe owner said
"You slipped on something on the floor
And you must of hurt your head"

"Never mind the tea mister
Where has George Clooney gone?
He was just about to kiss me
Then you came along"

And sure I never will forget
The words that cafe owner said
"You mean the cardboard cutout that you seen
Before you banged your head

# 10... Dont you believe it Louis. The fish is supplied by Cappy who buys it cheap from the supermarket when its past its use by date. He smuggles this across in the last ferry at night and used his pensioner pass to increase his profits. He lures the girls down from Aberdeen saying the Whale factory ships are back in business and in the Tyne. As regards Capt. Kong he still talks about it as spent one night South of the river and is still seeing his doctor. The trawlers that do get into North Shields these days are all flying the Panamanian flag, and manned by Brazillians who try to slip few pirrahna in here and there. As regards the smell you always get this with Southerly winds, something to do with the public toilets in South Shields market square. Cheers enjoy your fish and chips. John S
