    Default Offspring

Sometimes one's mind wanders and unexpected thoughts pop up in the head. I will share this with you although some of you may not welcome it.

How many children and grandchildren do we, members of this site and other similar sites, have?
Once we sailed from a port we did not know what we may have left behind.
There is no answer to this as we will never know.

Perhaps even Captain Kong's neighbours could be related to him. Life's great mysteries.

Everytime I go back to Whitley Bay, I look with suspicion on people in their late fourties or so especially if they have no relatives apart from some poor old mother figure. Knowing Brian was gallivanting and sewing his wild oats all over the place. Quaker oats must have had nothing on him at the time. I stuck my name on Google once and came up with a few of same name in the States and tried working out their ages. Does no good looking for trouble, think most would have been contacted by now if left any packages behind. Saying that poor old Rolf must be having nightmares wondering what else is going to fall out of the closet. Wouldnt be surprised if there was a Tyneside lady called Mary who he borrowed the wooden leg from one time to fall out of. Must be wishing he had lived a good God fearing life like most of us. Cheers John S

Nor what they may have given us!

Social history is a passion of mine, following on from Louis#1, is this really all that was available in the 1950's? Was it the 70's before there was a vast improvement on design?
