Excellent reply John A. [ a lot of Johns on here ].
Had me laughing. I dont think I will bother going to Greenwich, as you say may end up in froggy paris but stay in Fanning Island instead.
Many thanks for that. interesting excercise.
I will sleep soundly tonight. SHE has threatened me with the spare room if I do not stop leaving the light on while I read Nichols Concise Guide, Volume 1 and Reeds Ocean Navigator, 2nd Edition. at 3am.
Many thanks
Brian.
Re: A navigation question.
The books are not challenging enough , try Pounders Marine Diesel Engines and Gas Turbines , then you will stop worrying about the course and start worrying if you can make the distance
Re: A navigation question.
Hi Rob,
I have read `Pounders Marine Diesel Engines and Gas Turbines`, but fell asleep half way through.
I find that `Nichols Concise Guide, Volume 1` is quite interesting and I stay awake much longer.
Cheers
Brian.
.
. PS I told HER about `Pounders Marine Diesel Engines and Gas Turbines`. SHE has told me to get it again so we could both have a good nights sleep.
Re: A navigation question.
It has that effect on me too , as it did when doing the combined certificate , all that up and down was tiring
Re: A navigation question.
And get a patch for that eye it looks horrible. Js
Re: A navigation question.
Brian there are two ways to get over your dilema. Firstly think of pole dancers rahter than just the pole, ot secondly take a good sleeping pill and stop worrying about some Fanny island.
