Re: Flight m370
I see that Obama is in Malaya having talks with their president or Prime Minister. .
The plot thickens. What is all that about I wonder.

Re: Flight m370
The whole issue is but a mystery to me as to others too I suppose!
Lots of various thoughts and lots of speculation, but I wonder if we will ever know just what happened!
As said the plot thickens!
I don't recall another Flight that has just gone missing with not a trace of any debris or Human remains being found!
Me thinks that the Martians may be on this one! Eeeeek!
On a more serious note though, this is to say the weirdest case ! Me well I am really baffled!!
Cheers

Re: Flight m370
The Australians have reconstructed the disaster of flight 370.
This a computerized simulation/reconstruction on what might have happened using the events as highlighted on a Boeing 777 simulator ...a
Interesting and a must watch.

Re: Flight m370
Ref. my statement #2... Re . recovery of black boxes.. Thirty odd years ago certain segments of the RN were employed in recovering boxes probably similar in size, if not smaller as the black boxes carried by commercial aircraft. These boxes recovered in those days did not have pingers on for recovery to my knowledge. Unless they had means of giving a radio signal on unknown frequencies to those who laid them. I spent nearly 4 years on a ship whose one of the main purposes of its employment was such. The minehunters of the day had the facilities of locating these listening devices, and if in under approx. 1000 feet of water, specialized divers were sent down to recover. In 30 odd years I would imagine the progress made in such technological jobs must be far advanced than what I or any other layman would know. I always think of that police program of years ago on TV called No Hiding Place, I think it is a good description of the world today. If continued searchingwith the advanced technology available does not find and identify the aircraft to my mind it is elsewhere. It may by now have silted over, or lying in some deep water canyon, but it will be found if the will is there. Obviously divers cannot be put down to the depths of water thatit may lie in but most underwater reconnaniance is by unmanned submarine vessels the search should be even faster. Probably membersand ex members of the RN may add to this or they may think they still come under the Official Secrets Act, I dont and never signed to say I did, however it was a verbal thing not to disclose, however 30 odd years is a long time ago. Cheers John S

#7...Made the same mistake Rob thought they were referrring to Madam President after her bad mannered outburst against the crew of the Ferry. She cant have all the answers at the time of accusations being made as such. If she has, the actual cause of the tragedy should of now been made public. The stability of the vessel should be made public, also the loss of reserve buoyancy causing her to sink. Her statements were very libellous if have been made in a pique of anger, and is proved otherwise at an enquiry. Is a massive loss of face to receive such from the head of a country, and those that survived crew wise will never live down. Very out of character for an oriental, maybe too much American influence in their old way of life. Re. someone was asking about the old MNOPF received another letter today, have had now 3 or 4, stating that there will be no reductions in any of the old part of the fund which has been taken over by Legal and General and Rothesay Life. Cheers John S

Re: Flight m370
When ever such events occur the theories as to what caused it abound, most without good basis rather more a case of 'scuttlebut'.
Lates news from Oz today, all air seraches will now cease but uderwater searching will continue.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
