Fresh pineapple is also very good, it purifes the blood and removes many toxins from the system. Also pears and green beans are one of the highest sources of fibre, needed to clear the system easily.

Some excellent tips there Charlie, however, i did notice that apart from vinegar and honey at least half a dozen of the remedies were quoted as Branded Goods. I'm all for enterprise, but if you're receiving a retainer from these manufacturers, the least you could do is to share it with your online shipmates, sort of an early Christmas present.

Just a thought , John. Brazil nut oil contains selenium and who would know better than a Brazilian Doctor?.
Like all the other types of nuts, Brazil nuts are also known for their great taste and health benefits. Besides being one of the richest dietary sources for selenium, a vital mineral for human health, it contains significant amount of magnesium, phosphorus and thiamine, and very rich in protein and dietary fiber. 28 g of Brazil nuts approximately contain 190 calories, out of which 170 calories can be attributed to its fat content. Out of the total fat, 5 g is saturated fat, 7 g is mono-unsaturated fat, and the rest 7 g is polyunsaturated fat. The protein content is about 4 g, while fiber and sugar contents are 2 g and 1 g respectively. Again, 28 g of Brazil nuts contain about 190mg of potassium, 4 g of carbohydrates and 0 g of cholesterol, trans fat and sodium.
There are a hellava lot of get rich quick products on the market but plain old nuts (time gentlemen please) are a source of time proven medicinal and nutritional qualities.

Obviously never sailed with UCl or you would never had made such a claim.

Marian--good morning. I suffered for years with night time leg cramp, (blocked arteries from smoking?) then whilst in St. Thomas' hospital, the cardiologist suggested I take QUININE tablets every night. Although they are primaraly for malaria, they do wonders for cramp and I've not had them (the cramp) since.
    have a nice day!
p.s. I will be scrolling down to the jokes section after this.
    regards,
    Colin

#30.. Colin have the same problem, has eased off a bit now since taking self treatment for sleep abpnia. However for further relief was talked into buying an electric gadget which can only be called a vibrator which can be used to agitate the blood at different points of the body. The wife gives me funny looks when I get out and disappears, I wonder why. We live in a wonderful world and everyone can make a living by inventing or subscribing something to alleviate someone elses misery. Waiting for someone to invent some method of bringing back to life after death. I'm a bit doubtful about this freezing method. Would have to lie there in parkas and hot water bottles. Cheers John Sabourn
