27 and 28 January are stuck in my memory. 27 was wedding day and 28 was my birthday. Is of great importance to me as assures I won’t forget the wedding anniversary as wouldn’t survive to see my birthday the next day, and all those years ago I used to say she was my birthday present. JWS.

21st aprill I woke up after being in a coma consultants both sides of the bed and the padre at the foot they pulled a pipe like one you plumb a washing machine in with bandage around to drain my lungs the first thing I said to them was quote {are you a doctor or a plumber} the relief on their faces we lost you twice last night john? good old NHS bless them all? and the date was the anniversary of my dear old mams death? strange times..jp

A pal of mine who died a few months ago kept on dying due to low blood pressure among other things. They brought him back twice. The second time back he said to the Dr. how long have I got can you give me another couple of weeks, this was because he had some chores to do. The doctor just said sorry. The third time he didn’t come back. He was in great pain most of the time even though chocka block with morphine. Some people die unafraid of death. They set a good example to others. JWS.

November 22nd was the day my wife turned 21 so it will stay with her for ever.
Not the best of birthday presents.
