Re: Winter fuel allowance
I have just had a phone call, the Third today, offering me a New Gas Boiler. My one is very old, not sure how old, keeps breaking down just spent £150 having a new mother board fitted.
These phone calls say I can have a new £2000 boiler fitted for Free.
Then the question.
Are you on benefits?. No,
are you on Pension credit?, No. but I pay Tax on my pension.
Sorry you do not qualify.
phone down.
All my Overseas New neighbours are getting New gas boilers. including new radiators, there are gas fitters vans all over the avenue, Never paid a penny into the system, I have been paying Taxes now for 63 years. I Get Nothing.
Whats it all about??
Brian..

Go on holiday 3wks should do it, go to Croydon and register, remember to speak funny, you will be given money for food and rail, and another office to go to, you will then get a new house, with full central heating, housing benefits, tax, and all the other bits and pieces, don't forget to claim for the kids you left behind, then move in, good luck.

What's it all about, well for starters you were born in England, you no doubt had parents, you worked for a living, you were western clothes and every one can see your face, you eat normal food and have no aversion to alcohol. Just maybe if you got your neighbor to ask on your behalf, who knows what you may recieve.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Today I am happy. Received electric bill and is smallest ever, am 4 dollars and 57 cents in credit. So small amount of solar panels are an advantage. Cheers can afford a beer now. John Sabourn
