was it not the one that ends Mackesons good for you "?

Not sure Ron, I remember a bottle of Mackesons dribbling a ball around and a catchy tune playing. It was funny.

You will wonder where your teeth all went, if you clean your teeth with Pepsodent.

Great! I like all of the above!! Remember the greasy hair dos - Brillcream, "A little dab will do ya".

Canada 1950s, Labatts Beer - no alcohol advertising in Ontario. a man on a swing "The Swing is to Labatts" and the man winks.

Behind the driver on London buses - late 1940s -
At Auntie Bee's it's any old teas
At Auntie Jane's it just pure rain
But mother sees we've Lipton teas

London underground escalators had some good ones - anyone remember?

On the Sydney suburban red rattlers in front carriage by the driver's door, same era -
"Passengers are requested not to speak to the driver".
Larrikins - no inane graffiti in those days - poignant because it ran along a few waterways -
"Passengers are requested not to pea in the river"

    And same era again -
"I like aeroplane jelly, aeroplane jelly for me. And it's still on the shelves.

Theres A Humphrey About. This was Unigate Milk, some big celebs including Muhammad Ali were on them.A red and white straw (Humphrey)would sneak into peoples glasses of milk and drink it.Unigate started selling red and white straws 3 for 10p.
The other one I liked was "Nice one Cyril" it was surprising how that crept into every day language. If somebody did something good you would hear "Nice one Cyril"
    Regards.
