    BBC News Scotland.
Announced that thousands of litres of Chivas Regal was accidentally discharged to drains at a bottling plant near Dumbarton.
    Bet the drains smelled nice.

Apparently the Police are on riot alert to deal with the drunk and disorderly rats

I don't think the Scots will be too p***ed off with the loss of several thousand gallons of uisge beatha (water of life) on the other hand, if it had been Irn Bru..........

    Default chivas regal

I just finished a bottle of the amber nectar, chivas regal courtesy of my nephew who is a maintenance engineer at the Dumbarton plant so I hope it wasn"t his fault otherwise i will never get another bottle, having to sip [slowly] a tipple of Drambuie now just as a precaution, cheers.

I remember being drydocked at Scotts Shipyard in Bowling in the late 50s.On Saturdays we would all be in the Pub just outside the gate. The local Coal Merchant,a Mr.Henderson used to arrive about 12-30.If Dumbarton were playing at home,we used to pile on the back of his coal lorry and go to football. P****d out of our brains of course. Never get away with that one these days.
