Hi John. Very many thanks for your very detailed explanation on the Queens' moorings. Glad to know that the 'old girl' is secure in her home, and I hope our cousins from across the pond will look after her for many years to come. Such a beautiful ship, and her 'sister the Queen Elizabeth, which now is no more. there is no comparism between these two and the hideous rubbish that is being churned out today and are supposed to be ships of the line. More like blocks of flats with rudders and a funnel!! And they all look so top heavy, I wouldn't go across the dock in one!
