So Sad but Beautiful
This is a haunting image of the Brazilian 76' scientific and educational boat "Mar Sem Fin" which sunk on 12th April 2012 in Ardley Bay, Antartica. Thankfully all hands were evacuated safely.
What a stunning picture.

So beautiful
Have any of you ever seen the amazing footage of Shackleton's vessel breaking up, masts collapsing ever so slowly taken by the amazing Aus photographer/film maker whose name I should know? If you can get a hold of it on the net do, just spectacular. He went on to fame as a war photographer in WW1, he had twin daughters who a few years ago went to Elephant Island. They made a doco on them I think they were close to 100 years old then.
