RE THE OSBOURNES COCKLE MERCHANTS
Osbournes still there, there boats were allways Green, one was The Navigator, named after a Son killed in WW2 In the RAF, I worked for the Meddles, on the Ranger ll, Stevie Meddle ran her, all wooden boats then, now all steel and real ugly, no boatbuilders there now, 1 boatyard by Leigh Station, used to be called Johnson sons and Jago, my first motor boat was built there, Attachment 10879Attachment 10880 the train is at Southend Central Station, Westcliff Belle used to run the westcliff side of the Pier, by Peter Pans Playground.
