    the criterion was the dock pub as john said.opposite in point road was a cafe called the vasco dagama as one of the lads corrected me. i thougt it was the eagle as it belonged to the cab firm next door.

    Think a lot of us saw Stars there mate! But not the kind in the Sky! haha!
    That Vasco Da Gama Cafe i do recall,it wasnt too far from the Smuggies!

    Here is a very old Pic of the old Smugglers Inn, gee we had some great times here, meeting some off beat Gals too, Lots of Boff Bash too but all good times had!

    Another old Pic of Memories old Seamans Institute Point Road Durban now a Back Packer Hostel. There was also another Seamans Hostel at the rear of Point Roda a bit back from the old Smugglers. No Pic as yet!
