    Default Longest time between ports

In 1951 I was flown up to Reykjavik to join the Shell tanker Lampania. Our destination was Houston. On the first day I developed a raging toothache which lasted for the best part of three weeks. It subsided the night before we arrived of course. On arrival there was a company car waiting to whisk me away to the dentist,I was painless by then but I didn't intend going through that again. It may not have been the longest voyage on record but it sure seemed like it

Hi All, mine was approx (28 days out of sight of land) not the trip. It was on RFA Tidespring in '66, the Royal navy decided to have War Games with the Aussies in the South China Sea. Great run ashore afterwards though, showing the flag etc , Ladies everywhere and at 19 years old I leave the rest to your immagination !
