    Default Immigration

There is something I just don't understand . According to those who support the mass immigration of asylum seekers , it's all the fault of the EU top in Brussels as all EU countries as apparently forced to accept their quota and any refusal means a fine of 250,000euro.
If this is true I don't know but if it is ..... The UK is not part of the EU any more and therefore should not be subject to any ruling from Brussels yet Asylum seekers to the UK seem to be as well treated and cared and accepted for as here in the Netherlands

Does this perhaps strengthen the idea that mass asylum is encouraged by those murky individuals in the WEF - destroy national identities , culture , and traditions by mass immigration ?.

    I just don't know

Perfectly right John, and look at all that cheap labour on tap. The UK paid France to stop them leaving France in boats, but of course the French don't want all of them, so win win.

After the UK left the EU, that went well then.

3 years after Brexit, UK net migration has never been higher
New figures from the Office for National Statistics make uncomfortable reading for the UK’s Rishi Sunak.

LONDON — It’s official: net migration to the U.K. is at an all-time high.

New figures published Thursday show migration added 606,000 people to the U.K.’s population in 2022 — the highest number on record.

The data from the Office for National Statistics is likely to prompt fresh criticism of the governing Conservatives, who promised in their 2019 election manifesto to ensure “overall numbers come down” at a time when net migration stood at 226,000.

But of course it is Frances fault

    Johnny.
In all probability the money Britain paid to France was used to purchase the rubber dinghy's.

We have a similar situation here in Oz.
During the pandemic borders were closed, but visas for immigration were still being considered by many countries.
Australia house was still issuing them at that time.
After the pandemic was over those with a visa had a problem, the visa is only good for two years from date of issue.
Many countries then extended the length of the visa.
Result, mass immigration into a number of countries in one year. Over 500,000 here in Oz.
    Possible similar in UK.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

I have no reason to doubt your figures James . My question was - since the Uk has left the EU there should be no reason why the UK should be subject to EU policies regarding
mass immigration . Unless of course the UK government are intent in carrying out the WEF agenda of destabalisation ??.

Some people don't seem to realise that illegals have been crossing the channel for years. The used to, and still do, come over in trailers, hundreds of them. When I worked, I would see hundreds of them getting out of trailers in the docks on the Thames, and walking into London. No cops stopping them, but if the cops did get called, they just gave them money for the bus into London.
Now I'm going back 20 or more years with all this going on, and it was all due to Brexit.

I merely pointed out the facts since Brexit the illegals numbers have gone up. It is not just a British problem. But why is there a problem??? Maybe if we and other EU nations stopped enforcing foreign policy and regime change the problem would not be as bad as it is , reap what you sow.

Before Brexit, the French used to prevent them from entering the trailers if they could, but after Brexit, it became a form of EU punishment for Brexit, and still is. In fact, it's encouraged by turning a blind eye.

It is a bit like if you do not pay your gym membership you cannot us the swimming pool. Why should France and the EU do the UK any favours concerning illegal migrants as far as they are concerned the more that cross over it is a longer a problem for the EU
