Once again, C.P. Ships "Beaveroak" mid 60s.
"Astral" soap was the best, the accomadation smelt lovely.

I was cadet on the beaveroak when she was converted and lengthened to a full container ship. Canadian Pacific always had superior soap issues, dove, astral, lifebouy etc. spent 22 years with them, great company with great crews from lots of different outfits.also that izal toilet paper did not appear in the ships stores.

old AB told me in bad weather always keep a bar of soap in your pocket so you can wash yourself ashore jp
