'Green Linnet' set free.
I've placed an ebook (Green Linnet) anthology of stories etc. on Amazon that's free today and the next four days. It has a mad sea story in it called 'Hokkaido the Noo!' that might amuse. "Green Linnet' should be found on all Amazon outlets from last midnight Pacific time, under Harry Nicholson. It's there until the 29th. Sep. Help yourselves, shipmates.

Re: 'Green Linnet' set free.
Just discovered that Amazon have the wrong version - so please ignore this and the errors of format etc. I'll do some more work on it and put it through the Amazon word grinder once more..

That great, Tony. If you find probs - I've just renewed it: After a digital struggle, I've managed to upload the proper version of 'Green Linnet'. The ebook anthology is free to download until Thursday. A chance to glimpse the curious stories that I write. Tales of the sea and of the hills.

Re: 'Green Linnet' set free.
That's cheering, Tony. I enjoy being a writer without a publisher in charge, but it can be a struggle when it comes to uploading into Amazon - though they make it more slick as time goes on. I probably publish something every 18 months, by which time I've forgotten the techniques I'd mastered before - so I have to learn how to jump through the hoops all over again. For eBooks, they now want each chapter to be hot-linked to the contents page. Much better for the reader experience, but like mastering magic to this old head.
Tomorrow, I'll snoop around Currys to see what solid state portables - such as tablets - might help (and even a new desktop). I doubt if this elderly iMac will survive an update, and suspect it may not be possible anyway.

Re: 'Green Linnet' set free.
Green Linnet is free once more: To celebrate the turning of the year, this little eBook anthology, 'Green Linnet' by British writer Harry Nicholson, is free from today until 3rd January. Humorous and sober short stories of the sea and of Yorkshire, interleaved with verse.

and on other Amazon sites.
