    I bet Uncle Albert would have sunk that in a day, the only man to sink a Reliant Robin .
    As a kid in 1950 I'd bie it to Tottenham Hale to access the river Lea and go fishing, don't remember seeing any houseboats about in those days but
    the river Lea was very much a working river with towpaths and horses pulling barges along, only caught Roach, Perch and Bream but always at my
    happiest when near water, it was a different world then, don't think todays kids with all their electronic gadgets will appreciate the simple things
    as we did after the war years. Harry H Corbett and Eric Sykes were in a 1960's comedy titled "The Bargee" a funny film if I remember rightly, cheers.
