    Default Microsoft

I am probably the last to find this out but here goes. Yesterday 29/04/2021 I could not use my microsoft office program and told to update to 360 at a cost of a one of payment or monthly/yearly debits. Really hissed me of this did so downloaded Apache open office. Well today I thought I would delete MO and went to settings and the place for uninstalling programs when I came across the program Microsoft 360 so uninstalled that instead. To my surprise my Microsoft Office 2010 became active once again. So it looks like Microsoft when updating put in the 360 program to render MO useless. Hope that I can save at least one of you the frustration of not being able to use MO and also the cost of paying Microsoft extortion money in my book.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Some years ago I managed to get hold of a copy of Microsoft Office from our local Harvey Norman at a very much reduced price.
Put it on my machine and so far allowed another six friends to put it on theirs.
No limit to the number than can use it.

Microsoft office is been sold here in the U.K for around £20, available as a download from Groupon on the internet, supposedly with genuine activation key. I used to have an office 2000 disc and key, given to me by my Norwegian fleet manager at the time but lost it ages ago. Since then I have used Apache open office,it's a free download. It is reverse compatible with MS office, so no problems using old spreadsheet and documents created in office.

Just type open office into your browser search engine. Apache is the creator of the open office suite of programs.

Thought an Apache haircut was cut by a very bad barber or worst scenario , a real scalp job!
