    #55. Penecillin or pinicillin as pronounced in kiwi , Ivan , got to be immune to. So went to Streptomycin, obviously that today is probably also seen it’s use by date . There are nurses on site who should not be embarrassed and know the drug used today. There is no shyness today, noticed in my doctors surgery a big sign advising people to come in and be checked for the dreaded lurgy. Must be a resurgence of the disease JS

    The ones that followed the ship were known as Mother Carey's Chickens, the shitehawk was the lad in the messroom who would eat the left overs at meal times, no matter what they were, well at least on all the ships I served on, but horses for courses
