Father O'Malley answers his phone, "Hello is this Father O'Malley?" "It is." "This is the Australian Taxation Office, can you help us?"
"I can!" "Do you know Ted Houllahan?" "I do'. "Is he a member of your congregation?" "He is".
"Did he donate $10,000 to the church.?
    "He Will."

    When one talks
about the differences in thinking about both Catholic and Protestant views most would think of Ireland. This is only partially true. If one takes the time to study the subject which is too huge to put on here, but a very short and abbreviated account of the Wars of Religion might give a better idea.
    1. French wars of Religion. Differences gave rise to a series of wars 1562-98 . Many of the Huguenots fleeing to England, the Netherlands, and Switzerland to escape.
    2. The Dutch revolt...the Protestant Dutch waged a long war against Spanish rule of the Low Countries 1566-1609
    3. Spanish Armada .. Philip of Spain attempted in in 1588 attempted to conquer reconvert Protestant England . His Armada was driven into the North Sea and destroyed by storms.
    4. Thirty years war ..A series of religious wars devastated Germany from 1618 -1648. The catholic side was lead by the Hapsburg emperors and their Spanish supporters , the protestants were sustained by Christian 1V of Denmark and Gustavus 11 Adolph’s of Sweden and the Catholic cardinal Richelieu of France , who feared the power of the Hapsburgs and the Holy Roman Empire.
Just a few of the wars never mentioned within the Christian faith.

Sport also have religion within clubs, Celtic & Rangers , Hearts & Hibs, Liverpool & Everton were at one time the one club it was spilt because of religion, Everton are the senior club in the city . Everton moved to Goodison park in 1892 and Liverpool FC made Anfield there home. Tottenham Hotspur are a Jewish club.

You forgot Celtic v Rangers annual festivities. When loading whisky in Glasgow and annual stoush was being played, asked wharfies how we could get a ticket, they told su cadets to forget it as we would end up flattened what ever we said.
