Road trip 2
Will be away on a trip for just under 3 weeks heading off on the Moto again, Looking forward to it. Usual up through France, England ,into Wales for a catch up with an old friend then heading up to Teeside , even asked Cappy if he would like a meet up so we could clear the air but , not really surprised he declined, his loss. Onwards to Scotland jump the ferry to N Ireland, was supposed to take in a road race but not so sure now, to many fatalities in racing now. Group of us are doing part of the Wild Atlantic Way, hopefully we will get dry weather.

Re: Road trip 2
I'm jealous of the trip I intended when I retired to buy a big bike and Go touring in the couple of weeks before my wife died she called me over one day to sit next to her and said she wanted me to promise her something I said what is it she said no I want you to promise and then I'll tell you what it is I wasn't left with a lot of choice so I said whatever you want I promise to agree to it she looked up and smiled and said when I've gone no bikes . My childhood dream lay in tatters so I am green with Envy enjoy your trip

Re: Road trip 2
Lets hope this weather remains for you Lewis, i never went into motorbikes, never fancied it with the British weather. I did ride a scooter, Lambretta when i first came ashore, i had not got a car licence at that point, and the scooter was the only means of getting to work, some considerable distance away. I do recall getting smacked in the face by a big thunder bug of some sort, on a motor bike i think it would have felt like a cricket ball !!, kt

Re: Road trip 2
Lewis i am sure you will be missing all the fun you had on the Bike mate, gee you did some good trips in France and other places .
Even me at my age now would love to be able to get the Leg over (No not that LOL) but to ride open and free with that lovely crisp Ait it was something that those who never tried dont really know what they missed!
Cheers
