I made a boo boo here, I realize that I was on my first ship Trevose for two years, in that time I went from Deck boy to SoS so it only took two years before I sat for my EDH.

Re: Duties of Deck boy /JOS
Less, keeping not top bad, little bits of me not working to well as they could, my bed calls me a little earlier every day, and I find my tolerance of dick heads has got a lot shorter.
One more thing, I am using a spoon more than a knife and fork to eat my dinner, is it just me or is it a getting old thing.
The dog man you mentioned was George Williams.
Re: Duties of Deck boy /JOS
You are not alone Bob, regrading your statement about d-ckheads, I think we all tolerated them to a degree in the past but eventually home truths need to be aired.
As for spoons, well, with a lot of meals it is the most logical utensil e.g. curry. I use a spoon the wife uses fork, I eat all the sauce, half hers is still on the plate; she still insists that I only use the spoon so I dont spill as much down my shirt ha ha!

Richard cranium, they now abound in all walks of life.
More in parliament than you could poke a stick at, and in general one has to wonder the mentality of some from the comments they make.
Illustration, when reporting on the tragedy in NZ the reported asked if he would be asking for bail???????
Re: Duties of Deck boy /JOS

Re: Duties of Deck boy /JOS
Hi Bob.
I ended back at sea!! at 62 joined the South Steyne in Darling harbour floating restaurant, did all the painting including on a stage over the side, left at 70, back to NZ for five years, not the same as the old days so came back to Aus. Now trying to keep up with he lawn and hedges.
