Just a brief bit of our News here for the coming Week!
This is terrible and we will all be on very High Alert , Australia is getting hotter and hotter.
Here in sleepy hollow Blackheath ,never before heard of Temps of 40 Deg ,due to hit us during the Coming Week so very high fire danger in the Area. These Temps are going to get even Hotter in the other Suburbs like Penrith predicted to reach 45/46 and many other NSW places!

Interesting take on global warming, and its relationship with Xmas, now i have to confess i am not a lover of Xmas, bah humbug, etc, but we are urged by the climate gurus to plant more trees to protect the climate, and here we are, pretty much all of us, sending Xmas cards which get read once, maybe twice, spread around the house, and then dumped in the New Year !!, in addition, many of us have a living tree cut down to place in the house for a matter of 10 days, and then mostly shredded and sent to compost. Its a strange old world !!!, kt

Keith, I made the same comment to my wife last week, regarding Christmas trees.
Same goes for Guy Fawkes night, how long before the Greens clamour for the banning of bonfires?

Just a bit more on the Fires and High Temps that are expected this Week here,
the Mt Tomah Fire is about 30 km away from where we are quite far but with heavy Winds could blow embers from such a mega Fire many many km away, and spark yet more spot Fires ahead of the main Blaze, thus we are all on High Alert on this issue
    Cheers

This is another one that has Flared up and is near Katoomba and also very close to where Richard Quatermaine lives,so i for one hope that he will be OK. Late Yesterday we saw the huge plumes of smoke coming from this Fire and it looked terrible.
    So take care there Richard.
    Cheers

Well to all Climate changers out there this will perk you up. Despite all the smoke choking people here for weeks, and people in Sydney having to wear masks, and even in the country as we are, outside right now we can only see about a mile for the smoke, the Mayor of Sydney said the New Years Fireworks will still go ahead. I remember when we had the huge fires in the Blue Mountains that burnt out the town of Winmallee, that forced us to leave and spend five years in NZ, they still sent the fireworks up, must have been a site in Sydney, fireworks exploding while the mountains burned.

A little thing I posted a long time ago.
This B man in Africa said, when the Lord made the world he put a axle through it, and greased it well so that it would spin forever, now man is taking all the oil out, so before long it will burn out.

A very interesting article in the Sunday paper here.
A list of all the bad fires since about 1820, the amount of land burned and lives lost.
This fire in NSW only comes in at number 9 out of 12.
Some where at a time when we did not have the fire fighting capacity of today, yet the people got through.

The Climate Change meeting in Paris has concluded with no consensus of opinion on what should be done.
Just a statement saying that wealthier nations will do more to help smaller ones.
Well we have been doing that for many years now, but it has made very little difference.
China will continue to burn coal, Australian coal, and Australia is now responsible for all of 1% on global emissions.

Today a university scientist raised a point of significance when he mentioned the Industrial Revolution from about 1750 to 1890.
The amount of emissions then were far worse than any of recent times yet nothing is spoken of them.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Sent to me by J.S. an interesting obserrvation on the subject.
I trust people such as him more than some of the so called scientists who will not show their face but continue to blast us with their version of events.

John see that the ever present Climate Change theorists who at various times display their own ignorance to their own world and how it has been formed in the past and no doubt will follow its own destiny to non existence in the future are keen to impose their own theories on others . Any competent navigator of the old school would have extreme doubts about how the unwashed mobs see climate change. The truth is the principles that most navigators have to adhere to which has proved to be correct must be consulted . Climate is due to untouchable elements which man will never be able to control which basically is its orbital path through the heavens. Any changes to this will. Cause massive alterations. Something to think about for all these climate change worshippers also is the moon is mostly responsible for the variable heights of the oceans, Even though the sun is 400 times bigger, but is much further away. The sun also is responsible for our present climate and all life on earth as we know it, it is also 100 times bigger than the earth. It will at some moment in time will also disintegrate and all life will and. All life will cease to exist. People report at various times sunspots on the sun which affects such things as communications , they also in all probability also affect our weather. I agree with clearing our atmosphere of pollutants if only for the health risks they impose on those with chest complaints, one has only to look up at the stars at night and to know that they all represent suns similar to our own to put things into their proper perspective. The argument on such a subject is out of the hands of the human race. Cheers JWS

I see that our little greener Grita Thunderbox went on social media to complain about having to sit on the floor of an over crowded German train, the train company hit back asking why she didn't mention that she was given a seat in first class for most of her journey. Seems that she has fallen into the celeb trap that anything she says will be believed
