Not having a go lad, just making a comment, alas ships are the worst offenders these days, but on the brighter side of that they are serving a useful purpose in bringing in the things we need and we travelled by sea as a profession so have a valid excuse in our quest to serve our fellow men (and women and all who don't know what they are)Quote:

When I was at sea, for many years I have to send to the Metrological Weather Centre in Bracknell in Herts. every six hours, the Lat and Long position of the ship, Sea temperatures, air temperatures wet and dry, wind speed and direction, Cloud formations, wave heights, and any other phenomena's such as Locusts, fish encountered and so on.
I have not noticed any major changes in all this time.
All I can see is Nonentities with a classroom Ology telling everyone LIES.
If people want to protest go to the places where they do pollute the world.
Indonesia, Brazil, Bangladesh India China and Gulf States. But here in Bolton istan everything is perfectly normal, No worries.
That list of Australian Cities Keith posted are OK been going there for 69 years, Try complaining in China. Nothing.

so 300,000 people marched/protested/went on strike for "climate change" in Australia, lets put that into perspective, its just over 1.2% of the population. not a lot when you look at it like that. the scary thing is, that in the next 5-10 years, a lot of these brainwashed kids will be voting, and who will they vote for? unless we can educate them to think for themselves and not follow the sheeple, they will be voting for the likes of the greens, animal justice, and other rabid off the wall parties. listening to these kids talk, I am reminded of the soviet era young socialist groups, mao's read guards, and the hitler youth, so focussed and sure that they know best, and any dissent is ignored or castigated. I fear for my country if zealots like these ever gain power.

As said before the Climate is still the same as many Years ago I personally don't see much although have had a bad Winter but that's happened before!

I have a very good friend here in Melbourne who worked et the Met office for almost 40 years finishing as a senior member.
As he told me they hold records going back to the very early days of the state of Victoria showing weather patterns, events and other weather related matters.
He was in contact with other similar offices around the nation.
As far as he is aware at no time have any scientists here every asked for any details regarding past history of weather.
Yet the same scientists are the ones frightening the life out of the younger generation with their claims.
It was put by an American scientist a few weeks back,
"The information being put out by the various bodies claiming climate changes are basing their claims on computer generated probabilities based on current situations. You must take into consideration past events and scenarios to get the full picture, this is not occurring'.
As to warming, here is a scenario which has occurred in the past.
In the early 80's here in Melbourne we regularly had summer days well into the 40's, often two or three on the trot.
By the early 90's despite the fact we spent much of it in drought we had no such days until 1999.
Then we had 5 days on the trot in March of 40 plus.
Since then we have had only three days in total of over 40.
That is weather patterns not climate.
Take the politics and the almighty dollar out of the equation and what is left...………………...very little.
As the chief UN spokesman said, 'Using some of the terms, currently in use regarding this matter, will no doubt create a feeling of despair amongst many, a feeling not warranted, causing them to take drastic uncalled for actions.
