Re: Liverpool Water Front
Same from me Jim, hope no further problems?. Very quickly my son had his op last Wednesday, they had to remove a rib from his right rib cage to get to the tumour. We are now in a chalet near Ross on Wye, and he's coming out on Wednesday, and coming here ,everything on ground floor, regards kt
Re: Liverpool Water Front

Thanks Vernon, yes I've been great.I went the mission a few sundays ago for a few pints of guinness, fell asleep on the chair and woke up with a pain top right hand side lay down eventually went .Woke up at 3 am with the most excruciating pain same place thought it was a 999 job ,took a couple of paracetamol and went back to bed.My McMillan nurse phoned me asked how I was told her of pain and shortage of breath she referred me to A&E.A&E decided to keep me in for a scan thought i had blood clot on lung, chest people confirmed no clot maybe clot on heart, sat around for 2 days waiting for cardio people to come and see me,still feeling A1 next day told I had an infection so treating me for sepsis. So what i went to A&E with became secondary the infection was the problem so spent eleven days on the drip being fed antibiotics.Micro biologist told them to stop giving me antibiotics they did and I improved each day and was discharged, went home not knowing what pain was that i went to A&E with.
Regards.

But glad that you are OK after all that, its not easy this getting old mate,i know !
Just take things easy you know we have to slow down nowdays not as full of energy as we were Years ago LOL
Wish we could turn the Bleedin Clock back at times Jim,how nice it would be to just have a few days back in the old times hey!

You too take care

Re: Liverpool Water Front
Sorry to hear of all that Jim, but very pleased that you are signed back on articles again and part of the crew. Ill health is a very strange thing and cant help messing up life at the most importune moments - especially unaccountable pain - my Gran blamed Wind, in fact she blamed wind on everything - lived to a ripe old age so it must have been wind !!!
Re: Liverpool Water Front
Ditto on all the above good wishes to Jim.
Glad to both see you are back and posting
and also that you are on the mend.
Take all good care, all the best.
Keith.
