Good scrubers, not since they turned the Horse and Groom in Southampton into a car park. But Les B Ann must surely knoe some, maybe her mate Den can assist on this one, as a man of the dessert I am sure he will know where to find Juan1

Not just the Horse and Groom John. The Orientail and Tommy Whites are just a distant memory now. You won't find a decent back street Pub in the City Centre anymore.Lord Roberts,Robbie Burns,Eight Bells,Scullards The Sussex and many more are all gone now.

This is mutiny lads, all those pubs now gone. How is any decent drinking seaman supposed to get a beer. Scullards the home of the Cunard Yanks gone, wonder what happened to Jimmy the barman there? If the horse and groom is now a car park then maybe they turned him into a parking meter.

Missing crew
I've found two of the missing 'seamen'. Their hanging about on the other site. Me thinks their trying to get back to the 'Old country' . Ones from the Bay of Plenty ( there was till he landed up there) and the other is that old Kingstonian in Newcastle NSW. Make sure you check all cargo entering the U.K. this week.

Does this mean that once he gets out of hospital we can get this ship back on the high seas? He can bring the nice nurses with him for company.
