Well Taffy I had a look around and you are correct no one to be seen. This ship is not the Mary Celest by any chance? Vernon was last seen half way up Table Mountain saying something about meeting with a Shabeen queen, why does he has to go there when we have our own resident queen on board? But even Peg Leg the ships cat is missing, but then there are rats left on board and no vermin either.

Ho No I knew i shouldn't have had that curry last night from that new Indian takeaway by the dock gates. He told me it was a new recipe he was trying out for 3 legged chicken. Sorry Peg Leg. Do you think its worthwhile advertising for new crew on a BYO basis. As we dont get fed on this tub dispite when signing on they told us it was not going to be a B.O. T. feeder. They were right there, they just dont feed you , full stop.

Taffy mate that three legged chook was most likely one of those made in China. No food, what do you mean no food? Tab nabs of the highest quality, Lava bread from the welsh witches, home made brew from the engine room, no engine but plenty of room. Vernon had perfected the curled edge sandwich, Mike has perfcted jelly fish soup, and there is talk of curried rocking horse legs, very tasty I am informed. As it is now the 17 of Nocember then Santa will soon be here and maybe we could cokk up some of those dolls he delivers. Lets face it they could not be any worse than the current menu.

    Default Crew wanted

    HI ALL.
All for keeping the DREAM ALIVE.
Anybody out there willing to sign on???,to keep this old rust bucket afloat.
The Welsh witches have been working hard to revamp the fog locker and its now a first class unit, well it will be after weve per-loaned a few more bits off the new flash cruise ship being fitted out astern of us. surprised what you can obtain when you give the night watchman a bottle of our special 32 bells rum.
So lads and lasses, what do you say, youve got nothing to lose as the company give you nothing anyway, we might even be able to put welsh Capt Morgan on tap.

Taff mate we might just have to get the press gang working again. Then when they have finnish pressing the crew we may be able to get them to press some grapes, might get some half decent grog then. The last lot of 32 bells had a distnict smell of WD40! Must stop making it in the engine room. But if we do not set sail soon we will not be able to pay the port charges, or the sherry for that matter, so sail we must. Come on Den, back to the galley with that new tab nab recipe, and go easy on the saw dust , someone said the last lot had woodworm.

    Default Galley Boy

Look you here my lovely lads. Had some news which means I will have to go into dry dock for some work to the old furnace (stomach), Had a few x rays and a C T scan so it appears I need an overhaul. Will keep a weather eye on the the 'Virtuality' but might not respond to any scuttlebutt. Intend to fight this as much as I've always fought my corner.
Just you Taffs keep that cauldron boiling. Vernon make sure Den and Terry keep producing tabnabs as bricks are a premium at the moment also keep plenty of dried milk and tins of coni oni on tap. John keep up the good work on producing the overproof 16 Bells. Make sure Alf gets relieved on the wheel regulary to stop going in circles and keep George away from anyone in bellbottoms as that boy does love a bellbottom.
Make sure the Old Man doesn't spend too much time in Les B Annes company because you know how he loses it.
Meanwhile have yourselves a safe trip and come onto port safely. Mike

    Default Get well soon.

    Hi Mike.
Get well soon , i hope its nothing to serious.
Have you spoken to the old man yet, he,s got some stuff called Black Draft, That stuff is good for giving you a good clear out. Its not to good on the ships plumbing though. Ill try and keep this motley crew in order, it shouldn't be to hard as there only a few of us left. The others did a reverse Pier head jump.
You look after yourself and keep in touch with updates, and give my love to the Welsh Rose. Take care.

Now Mike if you are going to be AWOl for a while I hope you soon recover from your furnace problem. But while you are away maybe a message by carrier pigeon may do the trick. Though on secon thoughts maybe not, the crew here are so hungy they could eat the a***s out of a stuffed chook. We will save your daily rum ration for you until you return.

    Hi John,
I know we are running this ship with a skeleton crew, but this is ridiculous. Alf was having lay down and a bronzy yesterday and two shore workers came onboard and started to play his ribs like a xylophone, actually didn't sound to bad. I think Ill have to crank up the couldron and make us a good feed, we cant depend on our cooks.
