    Default Party

Lads. When and if we reach the 1000 on this post, it has only been possible by your very valid and greatly valued contributions. Veracity Vernon, Jesting John, Dainty Den, Terrible Taffs (all of 'em), Artful Alf, Geriatric George, Tense Terry, Galliping Guliver, Lushious Les B Anne, Amorous Amigo(Louis), UnFLAGable Mike, and all others I've missed especially those who spend more time in the fog locker than with their duties, take a bow. We've sailed some treacherous seas but we've survived thanks to an out of date road map along with an out of date Captain(?), We've seen sights that would make grown men quiver, but seeing we're not grown and very much in our dotage know no fear. Proudly we stand (those of us who've left the Bells alone for a minute). Tho we cling blindly to the mast for support, and Alf watch where your groping, we salute the flag, BUT does Les B Anne know we're flying her drawers from the courtesy mast? Ah well never mind I don't suppose she misses them serving alongside Gulliver and Alf. Me! I'm so overcome by the spectacle of you laddies looking so 'andsome and tar like I'll have to take to me bunk. Can someone wake me when we get there, wherever that is? Mike

    I've been practicing like.
Think I can produce a cake that shouldn't weigh more than one ton. Tricky bit is. How do I get the bird in. And where do I find one as we never get ashore.
Guess it has to be Les B Ann. Could take a lot of rum extract to make her willing!!! The things I do for this crew.

DEn mate maybe we could send Les B Ann ashore in PAXO to get us a dolly bird, and even if she cannot find a live one at leasta stuffed one would do, sage and onion prefered. But what are you going to mix such a cake in? We need a bix mixing pot like the one on S.S. Westminister, as they do a lot of stirring they must have a big one.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

    Good point John,
If all else fails, and as a very last resort, we could get the Welsh witches to produce a mega cauldron.
Would prefer that to getting involved with SS Westminster.

    Default Rum

Now Den, How can you tell porkies like that, were you an MP? If I remember rightly for Christmas I brewed you a few kegs of 'Bells32' as opposed to that weak stuff the rest were drinking (4 Bells) You also said what a lovely galley boy I was to think of you at Christmas. I remember telling you that when your keg ran out all you had to do was go to the spud locker on the boat deck and remove the 4 bags of spuds from the centre of stack and you would find a renewal of what you had consumed. Your trouble is your memory as I'm still waiting for that $1000. you borrowed off me to go to the golf tournament you were supposed to have played in. Just send it to me via the Albatross post and I'll not tell the rest of the lads whats in the spud locker. This is just our little secret and you'll have plenty of 'Tars Delight' for the rest of the voyage. Mike
