No it wasnt a mirage ,i am sane (well hopefully) there i stood looking out and as it came closer i saw my chance to redeem myself from this tiresome wait,which i though was making me mad!
In my Kitbag i snatched out the old faithfull Brownie Camera and took a shot of this so called Mirage! And Wow!! what a beautifull Clipper it is!

Izambard Kingdom Brunel is the Chief eng., and Taffy X can be his steward as well as to all the mates and 'Old Man'. Vernon your Chief Stwd as can't seem to raise Brian, no more pay just more work. Me ! I think I'll be in my usual position, legless. Where's Alf he should be 'ere by now along with 2 Jags (see earlier post). Den get weaving in the galley I'll send you a tot along with Des the other Welsh waster from Land of the Long White Cloud.
