Frank. There is no way I'm having a Scotsman in charge of the rum issue. My very good mate Den, who besides being C/cook and bottle washer as well as 2nd cook/baker ( in his spare time he does a little chipping and redleading) is in charge of rum issue. Cos he needs it in the galley to soften up his tabnabs. So Frank(ly) you can't have that job. You can have the crown and anchor but most are playing tombola. Mike

Thanks Mike mate. There will be an extra drop of rum extract in your next tab-nab.
As you say, couldnt trust a Scot with the rum issue. Me now is another story.

I'm happy just making the odd [they don't come any odder] Tab-Nab.
Have found a new hand that wants to sign on. I noticed there is an opening for a Bhaaa Steward.
Only thing is, she may distract our friends from the southern hemisphere, not to mention our Welsh members.
    What do you think?

    Thumbs up Discharge

    Hi, Geoff
    Re Pete's water
All water discharged has been passed by the shipping co as fit for use,
Whether for rust removal, or otherwise, Getting your own back, is not an option Bro, ( really thought the was a fire under the bonnet)

Anyway you should be off watch now having a "Make and Mend"Making tea for Trish Like,
And not interfering with the tight running of this Ship,

We still got some more warps n backsprings to find after that mangle wurzel(mike the bundies) flogged them to the firemen on Weston pier to stop it drifting out in the channel after getting steam up!!!,
OOOPS did I hear 4 bells then WHOOOSH.
brace me thingies, splice me wotsits, Admiral Benbow, Black spot.

The bells, the bells, be telling us all ater that Quasimodo is on board. You may not know him but his face will ring a bell. Den you must stop leaving the top off the boittle, the fumes are getting into the air conditioning and half the crew are all over the place like a mad womans knickers. Vernon has fallen asleep on the job, and mike cant even get a job, Alf is going round in circles, and Taffy just flew off the handle of his broom. Mate we are in deep sh one T.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

So thats what those floats are for either side of the pier. Me I'm after one of Campbells side wheelers. Last time wife and I travelled on one of those it was only 2/6d to Weston and back. You can have your 4 Bells Den and I are now running on 8 Bells. Much more smoother and nice hint of molasses on the back of the throat has a long lasting effect. Mike
