Where were you on your 21st Birthday?

My 21st was in mid Atlantic onboard the Manchester Regiment enroute to Montreal, and the catering dept gave me a great birthday, even the cook baked a cake.:D, Ooops Second cook and baker made me a cake , sorry Den

My best mate who died about 3 years ago was a day older than me. We were going to have a combined 21st. Guess what? He went off to Liverpool to join his first ship on his 21st.

You should be sorry Bill. Those cooks couldnt make a Tab-Nab to save their soul. Thats if they had one in the first place, which is doubtful!

Spent my 3 days in the ships hospital [northern star] strained myself lifting gash down the galley shute. Had to sweet talk the nurse to let me out when we got to Cape Town on my 21st. Had a great day out limped backed and it
was not the strain.
