    Spent a few short times there on the Round Africa Run , as said would scare many, but in our days well for myself i had no Fear those days , was game for almost anything and those sort of Brawls that you talk of were just part and parcel of a Seamans Life guess. Many other Ports too had their scary places and times . Cheers

    Sailed with one that was ex SAS.
    Talk about tough.
    Good looking bloke as well.
    Used to go ashore with him.
    The females loved him.
    Not to interested in me though.
    What a waste.
