Get us out of the EU, would release £9b for spending in the UK. Cut the overseas aid budget to emergency relief only, invest the savings in the UK.
immigration, employ same rules as the US.

You have beaten me to it,
Get out of europe, regain our trade with the Commonwealth or as we used to know it, the Colonies.
Stop all overseas aid, that is Our Tax payments , not the politicians.
Immigration the same as Japans. we are only a small island and now because of stupid politicians we are now too crowded, NHS, Schools and other Services cannot cope and the situation will go worse. and in 2020 one third of our population will have been born overseas, [ on radio news yesterday,].
Create new deportation laws so we can deport all undesirables pronto and instantly same day.
Cut down on MPs, why 650, is 50 not too many bludgers.?
    That is just for starters.

Get rid of the government of all sides of politics and repalce them with business men, much fewer in number that the 600 plus you have now. appoint an administrator to oversee them. Get out of EU and re-establish contact with commonwealth countries. Cut out forieng aid to countries that have dictatorships and the like, get the dole bludgers working even if only sweeping the streets. Work of any sort is better than none it gives people purpose. Cut out some of the non genuine social paymenst to thoase who do not really need it but know how to rort the system. Control immigration but allow in those who will assist the country to grow and benifit. Allow people freedom of speech so they may speak up without fear of retribution, tougher penalties for criminals with the return of Pierpoint for serious crimes, murder, rape, treason etc. Once thta is in place you will have a chance of determining your own future rather than as it is now where the faceless men of Sprout land do it for you.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

See Clegg and a Liberal MP want to enshrine the 0.7% funding (which equates to £11b of GDP) to overseas aid and make it law.

#8... That is not my interpretation of a democracy where idiots like them can pass such a law giving them the right to give others money away to other countries who have their own resources. That is the main problems with the West, the politicians are mostly wet behind the ears. The only power they have if they knew it is from the people, and they are only there until the people decide otherwise. What I have seen and heard of British governments in the past two decades, they arent worth a light. The present one does not deserve to be re-elected on past performances and the biggest one on not holding a referendum on Europe. Saying that it is really of no concern to me apart from seeing the Great getting struck off Britain. The last shower in here made the mistake of thinking they could fool the people by promises of things they could not achieve. People are not stupid anymore and dont have to have a University degree in Sociology to see the inaptness of those who are supposed to be servants of the people. The days of the posturing politician taking huge decisions which arent in line with the peoples thoughts are coming to an end. I agree there should be about another 500 names added to the Labour Exchange and let them work for a living and try and be a bit more productive. Cheers John S
