Drydock on the Tyne nearly wrecks me
Brian
Though past the pulling age myself (to much like hard work plus very happily married) I can confirm thats things have not changed since those days. I have a number of mates my own age who are single (divorced) who certainly have a very active sex life with a number of different partners who they change on a regular basis. There are certain pubs and clubs around that you will certainly be able to hook up with a v. nice lady, only don,t make the mistake (as I once) did of going back to there place, especially if they are only seperated awaiting divorce. I once ended up in flat in a block in Newcastle with a very nice girl who ex. had treated her very badly and had the habit of beating up any male she met, whether he had done the business with her or had just had a pleasant evening clubbing with her. I sympathsied with her and made the right noises but was eager to get on with the job in hand. In the morning as I was leaving she asked me to leave very quietly, "Why", i asked "worried about the neighbours", "no" she says, "Its my ex., he lives across the landing and if he hears you leaving he will be straight after you". OOOPS. Leaving as quietly as possible I had just got halfway down the first flight when a door on the floor above me opened and a brute resembling a gorrilla came out shouting and swearing he would rip my head off if he found out I had just left his ex, who was peering terrified around her door. Discretion being the better part of valour I legged it out of that block of flats and maded a speedy getway in my car at speeds that Linford Christie and Michael Schumacher would have been proud off (despite it being in and old VW beetle).
To check out the state of the ladies you would meet, visit the Shields Gazette on line, they have a section (cannot remember on what day of the week it is) whereby they publish photos of the clubbers and if your photo is picked you win a night out for free. 98% of the photos are of stunners, next to no male photos, so there is plenty of talent around to choose from.
Grab a granny nights still happen in a number of the clubs, its just a matter of knowing what club and on one night.
Even in these hard times, in Shields the clubs are usually full all weekend, whilst Newcastle is exactly as it is show, party capital. Remember there are some 25,000+ students at the two Uni's there, including a princess, so you just might get super lucky.

bloody hell!!!! where did you get that job from? last time I was in S. Shields I had to make-do with a pie and a pint and an introduction to the 5 fingered widow. I'm green with envy
If you ever find yourself in that situation again--give me a bell and I'll be on the first train north
