They where great times but many rubbish ports. I had a new Junior Engineer once, we sailed to Point Noire, while he was in bed, when he woke up we had sailed, he did not believe we had been and loaded, and annoyed that he had missed his first port.

Does anyone know what happened to Andy Mcnaught who was a second engineer with Blandford in the 60's, he was one of the best Seconds I ever sailed with.
